Mama OGs took to his Instagram Stories to warn his followers about a "fake news" report circulated by a social media entity known as "Si Kikayyy," which falsely claimed he had made statements regarding the couple's supposed marriage and prenuptial plans.

The controversy began when the page "Si Kikayyy" uploaded a post alleging that Paulo Avelino has no intention of signing a prenuptial agreement with Kim Chiu because of his deep love for her.

"Ayon daw sa source ni mama og's walang balak magbigay ng prenup si Paulo mahal na mahal si Kim Chiu soon to be misis," the fake post read.
It further attributed a fabricated quote to the showbiz reporter that supposedly says "Sobrang hinahangaan ko si Paulo. Bibihira ganyan mga lalaki na hindi kailangan ang prenup sa wedding. Ibig sabihin mahal talaga si Kimmy at ipagkakatiwala sa asawa mga kayamanan."

Upon seeing the screenshot, the outspoken showbiz insider immediately flagged it as a total fabrication.

Mama Ogs urged his audience to report the post for spreading disinformation.

"Hoy, Si Kikayyy! Pumik-ap ka na lang ng balita, wag ka na lang mag-imbento!" Ogie wrote in his caption.

He clarified that he never released such a statement and that the "source" mentioned in the post was non-existent.

This incident highlights the ongoing struggle celebrities and reporters face against "fan fiction" pages that pose as legitimate news sources.
