Appearing on the January 12 episode of Fast Talk With Boy Abunda, Andrea surprised viewers by admitting she is a massive fan of the "Get, Get Aw" hitmakers.
The revelation came as the SexBomb Girls continued their record-breaking reunion run, which recently added a fifth night, dubbed "Rawnd 5," scheduled for February 8 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
"I'm a fan. I'm a big fan too. You may not believe it, but I am," the actress told Abunda, dispelling long-standing rumors of a bitter rivalry between the two groups.

She recounted a recent encounter at a mall during the SexBomb ticket-selling event, where fans of the dancers recognized her and immediately asked when the Viva Hot Babes would stage their own comeback.
“Nandoon ako sa mall. Tapos may madaming nakapilang tao for their show. Na-recognize nila ako. Then ‘yung mga fans tinanong ako ng, ma’am kailan po kayo?'” Andrea recalled.
While the SexBomb Girls were renowned for their precision as dancers, the actress was quick to highlight the difference in their origins.
She noted that the Viva Hot Babes—originally composed of herself, Maui Taylor, Katya Santos, and others—were primarily marketed as a collective of actresses and models rather than professional dancers. However, she confirmed that discussions for a reunion are already in motion.
"Pinaplano namin pero nag-iisip pa kami ng gimmick, guys, 'cause we are not dancers," she explained. "We acknowledge kasi that we are not very good dancers like them. We are actresses, models brought together."
Andrea noted that while the members have remained close, their individual paths—ranging from public service to ongoing acting projects—have made scheduling a challenge.
Despite this, the success of recent nostalgic concerts has served as a catalyst for the group to "sit down" and finalize their next move.
The potential collaboration would mark a historic moment in Philippine pop culture, bringing together the groups behind novelty hits like "Bulaklak" and "The Spaghetti Song" for a definitive celebration of an era that defined Filipino afternoon television.
A former Miss Philippines Earth 2001 runner-up and Star Magic Batch 3 alumna, Andrea Del Rosario gained widespread fame as a lead member of the iconic Viva Hot Babes. Beyond her girl group roots, she has established a long-standing career as a versatile actress in the Philippine film industry.
Last year, Andrea paid tribute to her partner, Anthony Garcia, for redefining her understanding of a supportive and authentic romantic relationship. The actress drew a sharp contrast between her past experiences with deception and her current life with Anthony, whom she describes as genuinely kind and transparent. The actress emphasized that Anthony’s presence has been vital in her personal growth and in providing a stable, loving environment for her daughter, Bea. Beyond emotional support, Andrea credited Anthony for his calming influence, specifically for helping her maintain her peace by ignoring online provocateurs.
Previously, during a promotional shoot for the film Nanay, Tatay, Andrea Del Rosario appeared to reach her breaking point when her younger co-stars repeatedly disrupted her lines. The veteran star was captured on film walking away from the cameras, visibly frustrated, and remarking that the constant interruptions had ceased to be entertaining. Footage shared by PikaPika showed the tension escalating after child actors mimicked Andrea's dialogue, leading to a temporary halt in the production schedule. The supposed conflict was later debunked when Del Rosario posted a playful photo with the cast, suggesting that her "outburst" was actually a clever trick played back on the young pranksters.
