The issue resurfaced after discussions about their age gap once again gained traction on social media, prompting mixed reactions from netizens.

Joyce became a trending topic after a photo of her with Michael circulated on Reddit, reviving a post that first appeared nine months ago.

The post questioned the age difference between the couple and sparked debate among users.

The same user went on to provide context about Joyce’s past connection with the Pacquiao family and the couple’s ages.

“For context, Joyce (Michael's GF) is in her late 30s, while Michael is 23 (now 24),” the comment read.

As the post regained attention early this year, Joyce became the target of harsh remarks, with some netizens resorting to hurtful labels.

On January 8, Joyce broke her silence through a Facebook post, explaining that she had been receiving an overwhelming number of messages.

“Sasabog ata MESSENGER ko sa dami nagmemessage but sorry I can't answer to everyone 🤭,” she wrote.

She pointed out that many people seemed more affected by online content than she was, especially when misinformation was involved.

“Guys sa mga nakaka panuod ng reels/chicka videos ang cute niyo mas affected pa kayo sa'kin sa nababasa/napapanuod niyo na minsan halos maling information na nalabas sa news,” Joyce said.

Joyce also urged people to remain calm and avoid spreading negativity.

“Relax lang wag po makipag away sa mga ka-comment niyo, don't put any hate in your heart whatever you read or hear bcoz' of me🙏🏽,” she added.

Manny Pacquiao, the iconic eight division world champion, remains one of the most celebrated figures in boxing history. He is married to Jinkee Pacquiao, whom he often credits as his strongest support system. Together, they have five children namely Emmanuel Jr or Jimuel, Michael Stephen, Mary Divine Grace or Princess, Queen Elizabeth or Queenie, and Israel.

Previously, Jinkee Pacquiao delighted her followers after sharing three sweet photos of baby Clara on Instagram. Clara is the daughter of their eldest son, Jimuel Pacquiao. One of the photos showed Jinkee holding Clara’s tiny hand, while the other images featured the baby alone and another with her father Jimuel.

Meanwhile, Eman Bacosa Pacquiao recently returned to Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho to address criticism about being perceived as too affectionate with Jillian Ward during a movie premiere. He asked the public not to judge him without knowing the full story and clarified that the interaction was harmless. The young boxer, who is also the son of Manny and Jinkee Pacquiao, is now signed under GMA’s Sparkle talent agency.
