Nearly two years after the noontime variety show Tahanang Pinakamasaya went off the air, its former hosts are coming forward with allegations that they have yet to receive their hard-earned salaries from TAPE Inc. The program served as a major production for the company, but former mainstays are now airing their grievances over long-overdue payments.

The claims were detailed during the January 10, 2026 episode of the podcast Your Honor, hosted by Chariz Solomon and Buboy Villar on the YouLOL YouTube channel. During the episode, guest Dasuri Choi joined the hosts in discussing their time on the show, which led to Chariz airing her allegations.

“Di ba, magkasama tayo sa Tahanang Pinakamasaya noon? Hindi ba, hindi pa tayo bayad. Huy, 2026 na TAPE! Baka naman!” Chariz exclaimed.

The comedienne didn't hold back in her claims, stating that her patience has reportedly run out.

“Hindi na ako mabait. Yan ang New Year’s resolution ko. Gagawan na natin ito ng solution,” she said, alleging that they have been chasing the management for two years without success.

Buboy Villar echoed these claims, stressing that as a parent, the alleged unpaid talent fees are crucial for supporting his children.

According to the hosts, their conversations with each other have reportedly shifted from friendly greetings to asking for payment updates. Dasuri shared that their usual talk now revolves around the question: “Kailan?” (When?). Chariz lamented the situation, saying, “Kaysa, 'Kumusta ka?' Hindi yung, 'Kailan? Nabayaran ka na?' Ang pangit, di ba? Magtatatlong taon na. Hopefully this 2026.” Despite the long wait, the group expressed that they still hope TAPE Inc. will address these allegations and settle the reported debts.

Tahanang Pinakamasaya was the noontime program launched by TAPE Inc. on January 6, 2024, as a replacement for the original Eat Bulaga! after the legendary trio Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon (TVJ) left the production. The show was born out of a legal battle over the Eat Bulaga! trademark, which the Marikina Regional Trial Court eventually awarded to TVJ in December 2023. Aside from Chariz, Buboy, and Dasuri, the show also featured Isko Moreno, Paolo Contis, and the Legaspi twins. It officially ceased operations on March 2, 2024, following a decline in ratings and commercial support.
