Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee addressed questions about her love life during the latest episode of Kylie Verzosa’s “Almost Honest” podcast, where she was asked directly about her current relationship status.

In the candid conversation, Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa did not hesitate to ask if Michelle was single.
The beauty queen responded honestly and said, “I am technically single, but my heart is taken.”
She went on to explain that while she and her partner are not officially back together, her emotional commitment remains firm.

“I am technically single because we’re not officially together again yet, but [I’m] definitely off the market emotionally and all of that,” Michelle added.
Michelle also pointed out that the podcast episode had been recorded earlier, leaving room for possible changes by the time it aired.
She shared that her status largely depends on a personal decision she has yet to make.
“Because with the situation that I have now, it’s actually up to me to ask,” she said.
She further clarified her position by stating, “But me being single by the time this comes out depends greatly on my next move, which is why I’m technically single.”
Beyond relationships, Michelle also revisited her personal journey during Pride Month 2025, when she publicly reflected on coming out.
She admitted that embracing her truth was not easy at first. “Akala ko hindi ko ’yun magagawa,” she said.
Michelle came out as bise*xual in 2023, the same year she was crowned Miss Universe Philippines, a moment that marked a turning point both in her personal life and public identity.
