"You’ve all been bullying me online, picking on me every single day. You’ve been transphobic and homophobic toward me," Awra wrote, noting that she previously chose to ignore the attacks despite getting hurt daily.
She expressed frustration that when she finally decided to defend herself, she was suddenly painted as the "bad person."
"I chose peace. I chose to ignore everything, even though I was getting hurt every single day, despite not doing anything to any of you. You enjoyed doing that because, for so long, I chose not to stand up for myself. But when I finally do, I’m suddenly the bad person?" she wrote.

Awra's post was a direct response to a critic who suggested there was a "better way" to answer bashers, referencing her past legal troubles and telling her she should have stayed "kind" instead of being "matapobre." Awra retorted by emphasizing that she is simply trying to grow and redeem herself from past mistakes, yet people continue to enjoy bullying someone who is making an effort to improve.
Looking forward, Awra is making her personal growth and transition her top priority for 2026.
"I promise myself that I will no longer give transphobes the freedom to bully me," she declared, adding that she no longer cares about maintaining a perfectly polite image. "I will stand up for myself this time," she concluded, signaling a new, fiercer chapter in her life.
