Kiray Celis sets the record straight on wedding gown price after online speculations

Kiray Celis has spoken up to clear the air after online chatter claimed her wedding gown cost ₱5 million.

The actress addressed the speculation during her recent guest appearance on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” where she appeared alongside her husband, Stephan Estopia.

During the interview, Boy Abunda directly asked Kiray about the circulating rumors regarding the price of her bridal gown.

She immediately dismissed the claim and explained that the amount being mentioned online was far from the truth.

“Hindi naman 'yun five million (pesos),” says Kiray.

Despite correcting the misinformation, Kiray admitted she felt flattered by the assumption.

She shared that the comments made her feel confident and beautiful, especially knowing people believed she could carry something so luxurious.

“Pero sobrang kinikilig ako na mukha palang five million 'yung gown ko,” she says.

Kiray went on to explain that she actually wore multiple gowns during the celebration.

According to her, she had five gowns in total, each worn at different moments of the wedding.

These included outfits for her preparation, the main bridal ceremony, the reception, the couple’s first dance, and the after-party.

The actress also surprised viewers by offering her wedding gowns to aspiring brides who may need them.

She said she is willing to lend the dresses as long as they fit the person borrowing them.

"Sa mga nanonood na bride, i-message niyo ‘ko ipapahiram ko kapag kasya sa inyo yung mga gown na ginamit ko,” says Kiray.

Aside from the gowns, Kiray shared that several wedding sponsors were generous with their gifts.

Some of their ninong and ninang reportedly gave them a honeymoon trip to Amanpulo and free venue rental for their wedding reception, making the celebration even more memorable for the newlyweds.

She also engaged followers online by inviting them to guess the date of the wedding, sparking excitement and warm messages from fans.
