Vice Ganda recently shared heartfelt thoughts about her close friendship with Anne Curtis, offering a glimpse into a bond she considers truly rare. Speaking on Karen Davila’s YouTube vlog, Vice explained that what she shares with Anne goes beyond ordinary friendship.

"Iba 'yung closeness kasi namin ni Anne. Marami kaming pinag-uusapan na kaming dalawa lang 'yung nagi-enjoy. Iba 'yung understanding namin and tsaka open kami sa isa't isa. We support each other so much," she said.

According to Vice, their relationship is something they actively protect because of how meaningful it is to both of them.

She emphasized that her feelings for Anne are deeply personal and rooted in years of trust and shared experiences.

"Iba talaga 'yung love ko kay Anne, very special siya sa akin. I miss her. I long for her. I care for her so much. I love her so much. Makikipag-away ako for her. I can be very brutally honest to her and siya rin ganun sa akin," she remarked.

Vice explained that their openness comes from knowing they will always choose each other despite disagreements.

"Hindi ako matatakot na ma-offend ko siya at siya rin hindi siya matatakot na ma-offend niya ako because at the end of the day we will still choose each other and we will still choose to understand each other."

She also shared how deeply they feel each other’s struggles.

"Ang ganda-ganda ng relationship namin. Umiiyak ako para sa kanya, umiiyak siya para sa akin. Nasasaktan kami para sa isa't isa," she said.

Vice recalled that Anne’s absence from *It’s Showtime* was especially painful for her.

"There was even a point na it was so hard for me to keep doing Showtime without her. Nahihirapan ako, umiiyak ako [sa kanya], 'Nahihirapan ako 'pag wala ka. Kailangan kita, kailangan kang bumalik.' Pinakiusapan ko siya, 'Samahan mo ako, kailangan kita, kailangan ko 'yung support mo.' It was very hard for me to carry Showtime without her," she said.

She added that everything felt easier when Anne was present. "With her in the show, it was so easy. It was a walk in the park. It's playtime," she explained.

Vice Ganda is one of the Philippines’ most recognizable entertainers, known for his work as a comedian, actor, endorser, and television host. He has long been a mainstay on the noontime show It’s Showtime and has starred in several box-office hits in the Metro Manila Film Festival. In his personal life, Vice is in a relationship with Ion Perez, and the two marked their commitment by obtaining a Certificate of Commitment during an intimate ceremony in Las Vegas, Nevada, on October 19, 2021.

In a recent episode of It’s Showtime, Vice opened up about childhood memories that left a lasting impression on him. He recalled feeling uneasy and ashamed during school Christmas parties whenever he could not participate in gift exchanges. During the December 18 “Laro Laro Pick” segment, he explained how those moments allowed him to relate to Joy, a solo parent, and underscored the importance of parents doing their best to meet their children’s needs and holiday wishes.
