Vice Ganda recently talked about his long friendship with Coco Martin. The comedian opened up during an interview with Karen Davila. He looked back at their early days in showbiz when life was hard for both of them.

Vice said they started with almost nothing. He was performing in comedy bars. Coco was trying to get small roles. They became friends fast because they understood each other's struggles.
Vice remembered one time when they shared a small gig. Coco had no sideline that day. Vice split his budget so Coco could eat too.
They often ate at cheap places after work. One night, they sat in a simple Vietnamese restaurant. They started sharing stories about their dreams and problems. Tears came while they ate. Both just wanted to work and survive. Vice said they never thought they would become big stars one day.

Now, Vice and Coco are two of the biggest names in Philippine entertainment. Coco leads the long-running show FPJ's Batang Quiapo. Vice hosts It's Showtime and makes hit movies every year. Earlier, in a media conference for the movie “And the breadwinner is,” Vice shared her thoughts on the pairing of Maris Racal and Anthony Jennings. The two young stars are part of Vice’s upcoming movie, “And The Breadwinner Is.” Then, she praised their talent and chemistry, which has been proven in their past projects. Shee fully supported their inclusion in the film and acknowledged their unique charm.
