After wrapping up 40 shows across different countries, the couple decided to give their hardworking crew an early Christmas gift they would never forget.

In a series of TikTok videos posted by TJ, the SNM40 team gathered for what initially seemed like a simple celebration.

With phones ready to record, team members listened as TJ introduced scratch cards that were said to contain varying cash prizes.

“Again, walang uuwing luhaan sa trip na ‘to,” TJ said as excitement began to build in the room.

He went on to explain the supposed breakdown of the prizes.

“Ito yung mga premyo natin: meron tayong pitong winners ng ₱5,000, meron tayong limang winners ng ₱10,000, merong tatlong winners ng ₱20,000, merong dalawang winners ng ₱50,000, at merong isang may ₱100,000,” TJ added.

The announcement triggered loud reactions, laughter, and even silent prayers from some hoping to land the biggest amount.

KZ then clarified the mechanics, assuring everyone that the scratch cards were identical.

“Hindi po namin alam kung nasaan dito [yung highest prize], magkamukha po lahat [ng packaging],” she explained as she handed them out.

One team member voiced a hopeful thought before scratching began.

“Kung kanino man mapupunta ‘yun [₱100,000], deserve niya ‘yun,” the team member said.

When the cards were finally revealed, the room erupted after everyone realized they had received the same amount.

“Happy SNM40!” TJ said as the surprise sank in.

One by one, team members screamed, cried, and embraced each other upon discovering that each of them had been given ₱100,000.

TJ later expressed his appreciation in the comments section of the video.

“DESERVE NYONG LAHAT! Ramdam namin ang puso nyo every single show, thank you guys ❤,” he wrote.

He ended his message with optimism and pride. “TAYO AY LILIPAD 🚀,” TJ added.

KZ Tandingan is one of the most celebrated singers in the Philippines and is married to fellow musician TJ Monterde. The couple first crossed paths through mutual friends in the music industry, including Martin Nievera and Kedevon, which eventually led to their relationship.
