Actress and vlogger Kristel Fulgar gave her followers a candid look into her recent move to South Korea after marrying her husband, Ha Suhyuk. In a new 19-minute vlog detailing her application for a Korean Residence Card, Kristel shared a hilarious yet embarrassing moment she experienced at the immigration office.

​Kristel explained that the process at the immigration office was unexpectedly stressful and jam-packed, which is why she wasn't able to film. She detailed the near-miss timing of her appointment, where she was almost late despite her husband's advice to arrive early at least 20 minutes prior the set appointment.

"Ang dami kong stress dun sa immigration, hindi ko na na-film. Natataranta na ako, and sobrang daming tao. Pagdating na pagdating ko dun, yun na yung time na tatawagin ako," Kristel recalled.

​However, the true awkward moment came when she discovered she was short on cash after spending it on photocopies, as the immigration was strictly cash-only.

"Pinabaunan ako ni Suhyuk ng cash kasi sobrang strict pala talaga nila, cash lang ang pwede. So pinabaunan niya ako ng sobrang exact amount eh may mga bagay ako na kailangan ipa-photocopy kaya na-short ako," she told her viewers.

Kristel eventually confessed she had to borrow money from a Filipina woman who had asked to take a photo wirh her, calling it an 'embarrassing' situation to be in.

​"Nangutang pa ako dun sa Pilipinang nagpa-picture sa akin, so ate, kung nanonood ka, thank you so much sa pagpapahiram sa akin. Nakakahiya," she said.

​The story offered a relatable glimpse into the sometimes complicated realities of moving and dealing with documents, even for a newlywed celebrity. Her vlog not only documented her journey to obtain her Residence Card but also highlighted the unexpected kindness of a fellow Filipina, one that was met with praise online.
