Kim Chiu marked another milestone in her already remarkable career as Star Magic presented her with a Loyalty Award during the Star Magical Christmas 2025 festivities held on November 23 at Okada Manila.

The recognition highlighted her long-standing contribution to the entertainment industry—one built on passion, perseverance, and a steady desire to challenge herself.

Her journey began in 2006 when the country first took notice of her as the charming “Chinese Cutie ng Cebu” who went on to become the inaugural Big Winner of "Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition."

That breakthrough moment launched her into a wave of opportunities, leading to her early appearances in light anthology programs such as "Your Song" and "Love Spell."

Soon after, she gained widespread attention through "Sana Maulit Muli," a project that solidified her as a rising star.

From there, Kim headlined a string of successful Kapamilya dramas—including "My Girl," "Tayong Dalawa," and "Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo"—roles that helped shape her public image as a bankable and endearing leading lady.

But as her career matured, so did her portrayals. She embraced deeper, more demanding characters, such as the conflicted Celyn in "Ina, Kapatid, Anak" and the dual roles she mastered in "Ikaw Lamang."

She is widely known in the local show business as the "Chinita Princess." Following her success in PBB, she became one of ABS-CBN's leading actresses, starring in popular teleseryes such as Sana Maulit Muli, My Girl, Ina, Kapatid, Anak, and Love Thy Woman. Aside from acting, she is also one of the hosts of the noontime program, It's Showtime.

The melancholic video also featured the song 'Snooze' by SZA and Justin Bieber. Needless to say, many also got curious with Kim's caption about "unspoken battles" in one's life.

Meanwhile, Kim Chiu was surprised and became emotional when her friend, Bela Padilla, suddenly arrived in Cebu to surprise her during a shoot. According to Bela, she traveled despite missing her flight, renting a car, and taking a 4-hour nap before finally reaching Kim's location. Bela shared that since they are both Taureans, they often deal with their problems on their own, but they can always sense each other’s feelings even without saying anything.
