Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera took an active role in helping communities affected by Typhoon Tino and Super Typhoon Uwan, donating sacks of rice and joining the GMA Kapuso Foundation’s relief repacking activity.

In a report by Nelson Canlas on “24 Oras” Friday, Marian encouraged fellow Filipinos to extend support to their fellow countrymen.
“Walang maliit na tulong basta sama-sama, kaya sa mga hindi pa nakakapag-donate sana po mag-donate po tayo para sa mga kababayan natin, para makatulong tayo,” she said, underscoring the importance of collective effort in times of crisis.
Several Sparkle stars also participated in the relief initiative, including Prince Carlos, Prince Clemente, Althea Ablan, Ronnie Liang, and members of Cloud 7.

Recently, Marian, alongside GMA Network Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes and Department of Justice Undersecretary Atty. Margarita Gutierrez, was recognized at the Tinging's List: The Elegant Filipinas 2025 event.
Gutierrez, co-founder of the non-profit organization Kababaihan, confirmed that the organization chose GMA Kapuso Foundation to receive the funds they raised for typhoon victims.
“'Yung Kababaihan organization, napili nila ang GMA Kapuso Foundation para i-donate 'yung kanilang na-collect po na donation para po sa mga victims po ng Typhoon Uwan at ng Tino na rin po,” said Gutierrez, with Gozon-Valdes expressing gratitude for the trust given to the foundation.
