Comedienne Ai-Ai delas Alas is marking her 35th year in show business with a fresh burst of energy and self-love through her new single “Haliparot Delulu,” released under her singer alter ego AADA.

The veteran performer made her grand musical comeback on ABS-CBN’s “It’s Showtime” last Wednesday, performing the lively dance-pop track for the first time in over a decade.
“Actually, ‘yung last na album ko sa Star Music is AADA talaga. So kapag singer ako, ‘yon ang name ko. Char-char lang ‘di ba. (Kapag artista) Ai Ai delas Alas; kapag singer AADA. Bakit, pwede naman?” delas Alas quipped, embracing both her comedic and musical sides.
Described as a “reminder to stop chasing ghosters and turn modern dating chaos into a playful empowering moment,” “Haliparot Delulu” is a lighthearted anthem for anyone who has been “napaasa at nagising sa katotohanan.”

Ai-Ai proudly dedicated the song to herself, especially after marking a year since her separation from her ex-husband.
Composed by Rox Santos and Jonathan Manalo, with arrangement by Theo Martel, the song also doubles as her birthday gift to fans.
Celebrating her November 11 birthday, Ai Ai shared her simple wish: “Siguro good health sa akin at sa family ko. At sana ‘yung buong Pilipinas ay maging okay na siya.”
Ai Ai delas Alas is a Filipino actress and comedian known for her outstanding comedic timing and vibrant personality. She gained widespread fame for her role as Ina Montecillo in the hit Ang Tanging Ina film series. With a career spanning decades, Ai-Ai has starred in numerous television shows, movies, and theater productions, often portraying comedic and motherly roles. In 2017, she married Gerald Sibayan. However, the actress eventually confirmed their split in November 2024, which caused her heartbreak.

She likewise shared a reel that talks about "done era." The comedienne shared the post a few months after her split with her husband, Gerald Sibayan. She has since worked on the withdrawal of the green card petition of Gerald.
