Veteran comedienne AiAi Delas Alas shared that she has officially withdrawn the green card petition for her former husband, Gerald Sibayan, who is currently in the United States.

Speaking on “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda,” she admitted that the move was her way of standing up for herself after their painful breakup.

“Noong una ayoko talagang gawin ‘yon. Pero noong bandang huli, naisip ko parang ayoko namang maging santa or something. Kasi parang ‘yun na lang ba ‘yung parang, kahit pangit [pakinggan], pero ‘yun na lang ‘yung ganti ko para sa sarili na nasaktan ako,” paliwanag ni AiAi.

She stressed that relocating to America was Gerald’s idea from the start.

“Siya naman ‘yung nagsabi kasi na gusto niyang pumunta ng Amerika eh. Hindi naman ako ‘yung nagbigay sa kaniya na, 'halika na, punta na tayong Amerika.' Siya naman ‘yung nagsabi na gusto niyang pumuntang Amerika,” dagdag niya.

According to the Kapuso star, the revocation happened alongside her filing for divorce, although the court has yet to release a final ruling on the case.

In October 2024, she first disclosed that they had separated after a decade together.

“Hiwalay na kami. Last month pa… October 14, nag-chat siya… Sinabi niya na gusto niya magkaanak at hindi na siya happy,” she recalled. She also revealed she was “confused and shocked” by the timing of the message.

The actress previously opened up about their struggles to conceive through IVF, a betrayal in 2019 that damaged her trust, and how communication between them completely ended by December 2024.

Ai Ai delas Alas is a Filipino actress and comedian known for her outstanding comedic timing and vibrant personality. She gained widespread fame for her role as Ina Montecillo in the hit Ang Tanging Ina film series. With a career spanning decades, Ai-Ai has starred in numerous television shows, movies, and theater productions, often portraying comedic and motherly roles. In 2017, she married Gerald Sibayan. However, the actress eventually confirmed their split in November 2024, which caused her heartbreak.

She likewise shared a reel that talks about "done era." The comedienne shared the post a few months after her split with her husband, Gerald Sibayan.

Meanwhile, Ai-Ai delas Alas took to the comment section of the post of GMA. The network posted lovely snaps of Rayver Cruz and Julie Anne San Jose. GMA noted that indeed, Rayver and Julie Anne are still together in 2025. Ai-Ai then commented and said, "Sana all," which piqued the interest of her many fans and followers.
