Fans flocked to the couple's mausoleum at the Manila North Cemetery days ahead of the main holiday, not only to pay their respects but to engage with a unique, modern tribute.

The mausoleum’s facade is marked by a clear show of enduring affection from their family. Dominating the area is a large tarpaulin featuring a joint portrait of the beloved couple.

What sets this tribute apart is the inclusion of QR codes prominently displayed at the bottom of the portrait.

These QR codes offer a digital link to the couple’s cinematic legacy, a thoughtful mechanism for fans to connect with their idols in the modern age.

When scanned, the codes reportedly direct visitors to a video tribute, allowing them to watch curated clips celebrating the lives, work, and unforgettable contributions of the "Hari at Reyna ng Pelikulang Pilipino" (King and Queen of Philippine Movies).

This innovation acknowledges that while the stars may be gone, their body of work remains easily accessible and constantly celebrated.
