In her interview with Boy Abunda for "The Interviewer," Gabbi shared that marriage isn’t something they feel the need to rush.

“When we feel like it, it will happen. I don't think you can ever be prepared for marriage. It just happens, when you both decide na ‘okay, game,’” she said.

The *Encantadia* actress emphasized that choosing not to marry yet does not mean loving each other any less.

“It doesn't mean you love the person less because you still don't want to get married now. It doesn't mean that way. It's just, wala, you just don't feel it yet. And when the time comes, it's gonna happen. You will feel it,” she explained.

In an earlier interview with Karen Davila, the couple revealed that while marriage is part of their future, they feel no pressure to settle down soon.

“We are just taking our time,” Gabbi said.

Khalil echoed her thoughts, adding that timing is key.

“Since we have our individual careers, I think it's a matter of weighing the current season in our careers, if it's the right time to actually settle down,” he remarked.

The couple celebrated their eighth anniversary last February, with Gabbi writing a touching message about their relationship, calling it “love that feels like home.”

Gabbi Garcia, in a recent interview over “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda,” says joining Miss Universe Philippines is not the smartest thing for her to do at this time. She revealed that her current professional commitments and brand endorsements make it impractical for her to join the competition right now. The actress cited the need to “drop everything” for a pageant, potentially leading to being “jobless for a year or two,” as a major factor in her decision. Despite her current focus on acting and hosting, Gabbi stated she is not entirely closing the door on joining Miss Universe Philippines in the future, suggesting timing is a key factor. She is a very good host actually.
