The emotional moment unfolded during a joint guest appearance by the celebrity best friends, Chariz, Lovely, and Valeen Montenegro—collectively known by their fandom portmanteau "ValeenChaGa"—on the talk show Fast Talk with Boy Abunda this past Wednesday.
The conversation, which often featured their signature humor, quickly pivoted to a serious and moving anecdote about the depth of their friendship.
Chariz recounted the unexpected speed at which her property loan was processed, which left her scrambling to complete the downpayment within a tight deadline.
"So, kumuha ako ng property for my family," Chariz began, " tapos naikuwento ko sa mga best friends. Tinawagan ko sila isa-isa, nagulat kasi ako na bago ka pa maipon ‘yung downpayment lumabas agad 'yung loan."
Facing the threat of the loan expiring, Chariz reached out in desperation. She then recalled a video call with Lovely and her husband, Benj Manalo, where their reaction was entirely unexpected.
"Thankfully ang bilis, wala na akong time kasi may expiration. Tapos, umiyak silang mag-asawa (Lovey at Benj) during the video call," Chariz remembered. "Sabi ko, ‘Bakit kayo umiiyak?’ Sabi nga nila, ‘yun nga they are Christians, ‘Sabi ni Lord tulungan ka namin."
The most surprising detail, which speaks volumes about the level of trust and genuine concern between the friends, was the nature of the financial assistance.
Chariz confirmed to the show's host, Boy Abunda, that the significant sum lent to her by Lovely had absolutely no interest.
With a laugh that is characteristic of the Bubble Gang star, Chariz then humorously cautioned the audience against asking her friend for similar favors.
"Walang interes ‘yun ha," Chariz joked. "Pero hindi kayo close kay Ga, so huwag niyong i-try. Ako lang ‘yon tsaka si Valeen. Tsaka, hindi pa ako bayad!" she added lightheartedly, earning a round of laughter from everyone present.
Lovely, who is now a successful celebrity entrepreneur, took the opportunity to reflect on her past and how Chariz and Valeen had once been her sources of help when she was just starting out.
She recalled her early days on the gag show when she struggled with basic needs. "Noong time na nagba-Bubble ako, wala akong damit na gagamitin for the show, wala akong make-up. Sila ‘yung nagbibigay sa akin," Lovely shared.
She recalled receiving thoughtful gifts that meant the world to her: "As in kapag birthday ko doon ako nakaka-experience ng mahal na shoes kasi binibigay ni Cha. Kapag nasa ibang bansa siya may make-up siya na ibinibigay sa akin. Si Val tuwing nagso-show gusto niya presentable ako."
Lovely explained that her decision to lend money to Chariz was her way of giving back and fulfilling a sense of gratitude.
"So parang sabi ko, ‘Lord, thank you na ako naman this time mag-share sa kanila’,'" Lovely stated, her voice filled with emotion. "Noong moment na ‘yon sabi ko, hindi ako naawa sa sarili ko, kasi may mga kaibigan ako to help me. Sila ‘yun, Tito."

In other related news, the gag showaired a popular new parody titled "Ang'gre," which is a comedic and satirical take on the fantasy series Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre. The parody introduces four comically flawed characters known as "Ang Tagapagligtas ng Engkangtodo," who cause chaos instead of protecting their magical world. The characters' names—Pakelamarra, Adamot, Laitera, and Hindeya—are clever wordplays that reflect their absurd personalities and elemental powers. The episode is a testament to Bubble Gang's long history of lampooning popular culture, from local TV shows and music to international hits like Game of Thrones.
