Mylene Dizon made a strong impact with her acceptance speech after winning Best Actress at the 2025 Cinemalaya Awards held at Shangri-La Plaza in Mandaluyong City on Sunday, October 12.

The actress appeared emotional as she went onstage to receive her trophy.

Despite her tears, she managed to joke a little, showing how happy she was for her performance in the film “Habang Nilalamon ng Hydra ang Kasaysayan.”

Her message, however, turned serious when she talked about corruption, which was also the main theme of her movie.
