In her post, Melai expressed her gratitude and love for Jason with her signature humor.

"Happy Bday to you my lab 🥰 Latepost kasi nabusy lang , pero i want to say Thank you Papang sa buhay mu dahil biniyayaan ako ni Lord ng dalawang chicken nuggets na hindi ko alam kng ikakasaya kopa 🤔🤣😂 Char lang," she wrote. "Labyu mu Papang my Daomengsi."

The video showed Melai, along with their daughters Mela and Stela, surprising Jason with a simple cake as they marked the special occasion together.

Earlier this year, in May 2024, the comedienne was named an honorary ambassador of the Korea Tourism Organization for its "Family Fun in Korea" campaign.

Stela, the youngest, was diagnosed with a urinary tract infection after developing a fever. Shortly after, her eldest daughter, Mela, also became unwell with a sore throat. Melai stayed lighthearted in her post while extending thanks to their doctor, the hospital staff, and God for her children’s recovery.

In another report, Melai Cantiveros got candid in her guesting on From the Heart podcast with DJ Chacha, where she spoke about the challenges in her marriage with actor Jason Francisco. Melai admitted that she once fell out of love and described how their relationship nearly ended in separation.
