In a recent Instagram post, the comedienne expressed her frustration over the fact that some performers are paid more despite being “out of tune” and lacking professionalism.

“REAL TALK: napapaisip nalang ako minsan dito sa industriyang ito, Mas malaki ang bayad sa mga sintunado walang professionalism sa trabaho. VERY SAD REALITY,” Kakai wrote.

“Sige nalang kase i was trained to DO my 200% all the time and keep showing UP. Death nga lang ang excuse. Ayan ang disiplinang nakuha ko sa mga theater mentors ko. THANK GOD,” she shared.

Now, the veteran performer is embracing single life and self-contentment.

“Choice ko talaga kasi para sa akin, ngayon ko lang nai-enjoy 'yung time ko for myself… ngayon ko nai-enjoy 'yung buhay ko na medyo kalmado na lahat, nakakaluwag na,” she said.
