“Naiiyak na ako, wala pa nangyayari,” Andi admitted, moved by the milestone moment.
According to Andi, Lilo’s participation was all about enjoyment: “We entered Lilo in this competition just for the experience. She just turned 6 years old and she is really the one who wanted to be part of the competition so why not make her try. But, this is for experience. All that matters to us is what she enjoys. Good luck!”
Supported by her dad, pro surfer Philmar Alipayo, and her mom who proudly dubbed herself Lilo’s “water girl,” the young surfer braved the waves and placed third overall with 3.60 points.
After cheering, “Good luck, Lilo!” from her younger brother Koa, and a warm hug from Andi who said, “Good job, Lilo! How was it? Fun? That’s what’s important—that you had fun,” the family celebrated both Lilo’s milestone and Philmar’s first-place wins in his heats.
On Instagram, Andi summed it up humorously: “Pacifico highlights! Kicked off comp season for my family at the 2nd National Pacifico Comp.🌊 I am not just a WAG anymore, I'm a WAM! 🥰”
Andi Eigenmann is a Filipino actress, model, and social media personality. She is known for her roles in television dramas and films in the Philippines. She comes from a prominent showbiz family—her mother is veteran actress Jaclyn Jose, and her father is seasoned actor Mark Gil. Andi rose to fame for her lead role in the ABS-CBN fantasy drama Agua Bendita. In recent years, however, she stepped away from mainstream showbiz to embrace a more peaceful island life. She relocated to Siargao with her fiancé, professional surfer Philmar Alipayo, and their children.
As previously reported by KAMI, Andi Eigenmann honored her late father, Mark Gil, by sharing a throwback photo of him with his children on Instagram Stories. In her caption, she reflected that the best gift their father left them was each other, which she described as far more valuable than any wealth “na galing sa nakaw.” The post was shared as the family observed the 11th death anniversary of the late veteran actor.
Recently, Andi Eigenmann addressed online remarks about her children’s appearance after sharing a reel of Lilo and Koa picking wildflowers. Some netizens commented that the kids looked messy, prompting her to respond through a post on Instagram Stories.
