Maxene then addressed the youth, many of whom may not be familiar with her father's work beyond his popular hits. "Para sa mga kabataan ngayon, kung hindi ninyo kilala si Francis M, isa siyang matapang na musikero noong dekada nobenta na naglakas-loob magsulat ng mga kanta tungkol sa mga kasamaan sa ating lipunan," she said, introducing Francis as a big master lyricist and performer but also a cultural warrior who dared to challenge systemic ills through his art.

According to Maxene, Francis' music was never just about rhythm and rhyme — it was about raising awareness and sparking change. "Ginawa niya ito para mamulat ang mga kapwa niyang Pilipino sa katotohanan at magbigay ng inspirasyon sa kanila sa pamamagitan ng kanyang pag-kanta," she explained, highlighting how her father used his platform against corruption too.

The actress's post resonated with many netizens, who found it timely and powerful, especially in light of the continuing corruption scandals dominating headlines. For Maxene, the message of her father's music is clear: it is a call for the Filipino people to wake up, to question, and to act.
