Salome Salvi, a Filipino artist and adult content creator, caught the attention of netizens after being seen at a protest rally in Mendiola Square, Manila.
The protest was organized by progressive groups calling out corruption.
In a Facebook post on September 21, 2025, Salome confirmed that she went there to show support and urged her followers to join. She wrote, join now, as part of her call.
Her video quickly spread online, but received many lewd and insulting remarks. Some comments mocked her presence at the rally with s*xual jokes and innuendos.

Despite the flood of negative remarks, a few netizens saw value in her action.
They pointed out that Salome’s intent was to raise her voice against corruption and stand with fellow Filipinos.
One said the post was clearly about corruption, but most people chose to respond with nonsense, proving why the government can easily rob the nation.
Another reminded critics that Salome was fighting for their rights, yet they were disrespecting her instead.
Supportive comments also praised her courage, calling her efforts a fight against greedy and corrupt politicians.
Others noted that at least she was out in the streets taking a stand, unlike those who only criticized from home.
Salome has not yet released an official statement about the issue, although she has responded calmly to some of the crude remarks online.

The suspect said he was there to talk to his wife and settle their misunderstanding, but unfortunately, it led to a big arguement.
