“Magkita-kita tayo sa Luneta sa Linggo. Oras na para wakasan ang kagarapalan ng mga hayup na magnanakaw a gobyerno.”

The call comes as outrage continues to grow over the alleged anomalous flood control projects currently under investigation.

Billions of pesos were reportedly allocated for flood control infrastructure, with critics claiming that a significant portion of the funds was funneled into questionable contracts linked to favored contractors and political allies.

Both artists’ calls highlight a growing movement within the entertainment industry to speak out and mobilize their followers in response to the controversy.

In recent weeks, various groups have staged demonstrations, such as the "Misa at Protesta Laban sa Korapsyon" and the "Black Friday People’s Protest."

More mass actions are expected in the coming days, including the planned rally at Luneta on Sunday, September 21, which Vice Ganda has now openly endorsed.

The comedian’s post has since gained traction online, with many fans praising the bold stance.

Advocates say celebrity voices help amplify public clamor for accountability, transparency, and reforms in governance.

As investigations into the flood control projects continue, more protests are anticipated nationwide, with calls for unity and vigilance growing louder.
