A heartwarming moment unfolded on "It’s Showtime" when contestant “Ondo” shared his simple Christmas wish—to finally return home to his province in Davao after 15 years.

During Monday’s episode, Ondo joined the segment "Laro Laro Pick" where he revealed the struggles that kept him away from his hometown.
“[Gusto ko] makauwi ng Davao, bibisita lang,” Ondo said, his voice breaking with emotion.

“Almost 15 years na [kasi] akong hindi nakauwi doon sa amin.”
It was learned that Ondo works as a stay-in houseboy in Las Piñas, earning a monthly salary of ₱8,000.
Despite his modest income, he continues to support his siblings in Davao who are currently unemployed.
His sacrifice and sense of responsibility deeply moved both the hosts and the viewers.
Vice Ganda, known for her generosity and compassion, did not hesitate to fulfill Ondo’s wish.
“Sa Pasko bibigyan kita ng plane ticket para makauwi ka,” Vice told him.
She further added, “Bibigyan din kita ng pang regalo mo sa sarili mo, [para sa] kung ano pang kailangan mo diyan.”
The comedian-host assured Ondo that she wanted him to experience more joy during the holiday season.
“I will make sure madadagdagan nang ngiti 'yung mukha mo sa Pasko, 'yun lang naman ang hiling ko,” Vice said.
