In her post, she recalled a striking line she came across online: "I heard this saying in a video I stumbled upon: 'Power shows the man. If you want to find out a lot about somebody, give them a bunch of power.'" This phrase, she admitted, made her pause and think about the impact of power.

With this in mind, Cheska wondered about the extent of power wielded by world leaders, including those in the Philippines. "How much power can a man really have before they sell their soul? To lose their integrity and for it not to matter anymore? What has power revealed about leaders? And what has it taught us?" she wrote, encouraging her followers to reflect alongside her.

Cheska emphasized that knowledge alone does not make an effective leader. Integrity and conviction, she said, are as important. "Truly, 'with great power comes great responsibility.' We can see that many don't know how to take the responsibility that has been given to them with so much hope. I guess knowledge is not enough when wisdom and conviction are lacking," she said.

Her message resonates in a time when many Filipinos are increasingly vocal about issues of corruption, poor governance, and leadership accountability on several social media platforms.

By the end of her post, Cheska offered a prayer for the nation's future and expressed hope that Filipinos will make wiser choices during elections. "I pray that we will be more discerning of the leaders we choose and uphold a standard of leaders who are morally upright and with deep values. I know we still have some good ones out there, and I hope they will be given a chance to lead when it is time to choose new leaders again," she said, with netizens agreeing with her.
