Newlyweds Shaira Diaz and EA Guzman shared the most memorable highlights of their wedding during their guest appearance on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda on Wednesday, August 20.

While their August 14 wedding was filled with unforgettable moments, the couple revealed the specific occasions that left the deepest mark on them.
For Guzman, it was the emotional embrace he shared with Shaira’s father, Daddy Rudy, at the altar.
The actor recalled a meaningful conversation with him more than a decade ago.

“Kasi bago 'yung kasal, nag-usap kami ng daddy niya, that was 12 years ago, first year namin. Masinsinan na sinabi niya sa akin 'Ed, kapag na-keep mo 'yung promise mo sa'kin na as in malinis si Shaira, pagka nagkita tayo sa altar, sa simbahan, 'pag niyakap mo 'ko, 'yun, napakasarap na pakiramdam ang mararamdaman mo.' He added that hugging Shaira’s father also made him think of his own father, who had long passed away, making the moment even more meaningful.
Meanwhile, Diaz shared that aside from their heartfelt wedding vows, the moment she was formally given away by her parents was what she cherished most.
“Siyempre sobrang tagal nila akong iniingatan so 'yun. Kaya nga sabi ko, nu'ng nagsasayaw kami ng daddy ko, 'Dad, thank you kasi approve ka kay EA.' Sabi ko talaga, ganu'n. Nagpapasalamat talaga ako kasi pinaghirapan ni Edgar 'yun, makuha 'yung loob ng family ko, 'yung trust nila, and 'yung tiwala na ito, hindi mo ako pababayaan.”
