The fresh-faced duo, with their undeniable chemistry, is giving fans a daily dose of "kilig" as they navigate the playful dynamic of a courtship.
The inaugural episode introduced Shuvee as Vee, the younger sister of the show's resident chef, Jay, played by JR Royol. Anthony, meanwhile, takes on the role of Tony, Vee’s persistent and charming suitor.
The segment’s unique split-screen format, which simultaneously shows Vee in the studio and Tony at a wet market, has been a hit with audiences.
In the storyline, Tony is determined to win over both Vee's heart and her brother’s approval, a quest that begins with him dutifully assisting Jay with market chores and cooking preparations.
The series launch quickly delivered a standout moment that has since gone viral among fans. While helping at the market, Tony delivered a classic but effective pick-up line.
“Are you Google? Because you're everything I'm searching for,” he quipped to Vee, who responded by making a half-heart with her hand on the screen, which Tony completed with his own, eliciting excited reactions from viewers.
The first episode concluded on a cliffhanger, leaving the audience eager to see if Tony will successfully earn Jay's blessing to pursue Vee in the coming installments.
This on-screen partnership is not a manufactured one, as the two have a real-life connection that dates back even before Shuvee’s stint as a housemate on Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition.
Constantino was actively courting Etrata prior to her entry into the famous house, and he was among the first to welcome her back to the outside world after her eviction.
Their bond was publicly highlighted during "The Big ColLove" concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, where Shuvee gave a shoutout to Anthony and fondly referred to him as her "TDH"—tall, dark, and handsome.
Both Shuvee and Anthony are rising stars in the Kapuso network. Shuvee, a former PBB housemate, is currently appearing in the fantasy series Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre as Veshdita and is set to star alongside Dingdong Dantes and fellow PBB alumna Charlie Fleming in the upcoming series Master Cutter.
Anthony, a model who signed with Sparkle earlier this year, is also building his portfolio. Their collaboration on Almuserye is just the beginning, as they are also set to co-star in the upcoming music video for Jenzen Guino's song "Marupok," which is scheduled for release on August 22.
