Liza Soberano tearfully recalls meeting her dad for the first time: "It was so uncomfortable"
"What a love team is, and this is based on how I feel like other people interpret it, is it's kind of like this fairytale romance that the whole country is in on. It's when they put two actors or ship two actors together and we end up basically becoming career partners," she explained to Sarah.

According to Liza, her own love team experience with Enrique was a formative chapter in her life. "When I started working with my love team, it was the first time that I truly felt like I wasn't alone. Through my love team, I gained a lifelong best friend, my first love," she revealed in the viral video.
When Sarah asked if she had any announcement to make, Liza finally confirmed the long-standing speculation: "Yeah, I've been honestly itching to tell people this because I haven't been very truthful. Quen hasn't been very truthful. Quen and I broke up. We've been broken up for almost three years now, and the reason, well originally the reason why we haven't said anything about it is because Enrique, or Quen, asked me not to say anything about it first," she shared.
While clarifying that she could not speak for the actor, Liza shared her own reasons for keeping it private. "I don't want to speak for him, but I think it was coming from a place of not wanting it to be real. At the same time, you know, I agreed to that because I also didn't want it to be real? This is coming from the people pleaser side of me. I was so afraid that if people found out we weren't together anymore, my career would go bad or you know, people just wouldn't love me anymore."
The revelation has since made waves online, sparking emotional reactions from fans who followed their love story for years both on and off the screen, and has been waiting for an update.
