She encouraged more people to see it, highlighting that beneath the guise of horror, the movie tackles deep themes of family, trauma, and mental health.

Directed by Derick Cabrido, who previously collaborated with Forteza on the critically acclaimed film Tuos, P77 follows the story of Luna Caceres, a young woman who takes on a cleaning job in a mysterious penthouse unit.

The film is a mind-bending journey that blurs the lines between reality and nightmare, with a strong emphasis on psychological suspense over conventional jump scares.

The cast also features a stellar lineup of veteran actors, including Gina Pareño, Jackie Lou Blanco, and Carlos Siguion-Reyna, along with JC Alcantara and young actor Euwenn Mikaell.

While Forteza continues to enjoy the success of P77, she is also starring in the ongoing TV series Beauty Empire alongside Kylie Alcantara and Ruffa Gutierrez.

The film's impressive run in cinemas nationwide, coupled with Forteza's heartfelt passion for the genre, suggests that this will not be the last time audiences see the Kapuso star in a spine-chilling role.
