In his message, John reflected on the deep legacy of the network and the emotional toll of leaving the place that had become a sanctuary for many artists and employees.

“ABS CBN COMPOUND TURN OVER TO THE NEXT PROPRIETOR. As ABS CBN that molded our love for Country and commitment to serve the Filipino people through our Arts and Talents, its four walls that used to be our strength, playground and refuge are about to be turned over to the next Proprietors, Gabby and the Lopezes Brothers Mark and Ernie..."

John acknowledged the unwavering conviction of ABS-CBN executives Carlo Katigbak, Cory Vidanes, and Lauren Dyogi, as well as the pioneers and stalwarts who remain dedicated to the network's mission. Despite the physical changes, he emphasized that the spirit of ABS-CBN lives on in its people.
