South Korean actress Lee Seo-yi has died at the age of 43, as confirmed by her manager.

On Instagram, her manager, Song Seo-bin, shared the heartbreaking news with the public alongside Seo-yi's photo.

Seo-yi was best known for her roles in the films “Scarlet Innocence,” “The King,” and “Killing Romance,” which helped make her a familiar name in the industry.

In the Instagram post, the manager also asked for prayers following Seo-yi's sudden passing.

Lee Seo Yi began her acting career at 21, making her debut in the 2013 historical drama Hur Jun, The Original Story.

She steadily built her resume, appearing in notable films such as 'Scarlet Innocence,' 'The Royal Tailor,' 'The King,' 'How To Live In This World,' and 'Killing Romance.'

On television, she gained recognition through her roles in series like Cheongdam‑dong Scandal, and most recently starred in the romantic comedy

The Divorce Insurance alongside well-known actors. Beyond acting, Lee pursued academic achievements, studying Czech and Slovak at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and later attending graduate school at Pusan National University.
