Nash Aguas has taken to his Instagram page, @zackwey, to share an affectionate anniversary message to his wife, Mika Dela Cruz.

In the post published on Tuesday, June 10, Nash treated his followers with a set of cozy photos and clips from his and Mika’s heartwarming trips together.

Along with the carousel post, the actor emotionally recollected the time they broke up two years ago.

“I still remember the night we broke up 2 years ago. No one knew, just us and God,” he revealed. “It was the most painful thing and I didn’t understand why. He said, ‘Trust me.’ and I did.”

Nash then narrated, “After months, I saw a video of you testifying how you met Jesus. I remember seeing your smile, it was so peaceful, so pure, so full of joy. The kind of joy I’ve been trying so hard to give you, but didn’t get to see during our relationship. That’s when I prayed ‘Lord, thank you for making her happy and allowing me to see it, even from a far.’”

The actor went on to reflect on the Lord’s plan for his and his fellow former child star’s relationship.

“I really thought that was my purpose in your life, to lead you to Jesus. But He had other plans, and it’s always more than what you ask, think or imagine.”

“Now, I get to see that smile every day,” he expressed, celebrating his and Mika’s marriage.

“That smile that brings warmth and comfort to people. You bring joy in every room you walk into. You make people feel seen and heard. You are a reminder to me of God’s Faithfulness.”

He further told his better half, “Thank you. I will always love you the way He loved me. Happy Anniversary, aking Asawa. @mikadlacruz.”

Nash concluded his post by writing “5.18.24,” denoting their wedding date which is May 18, 2024.

Mika Dela Cruz is an actress in the Philippines. She is the sister of veteran actress Angelika Dela Cruz. Mika is now married to actor-politician Nash Aguas.

Months ago, Mika warned netizens about a fraudster who uses her identity to scam people. On Instagram Stories, the actress apologized to everyone bothered by the scammer. As per Mika, the fraudster had scammed a lot of money, and they pretended to ask for donations for the typhoon victims.
