Jennica Garcia, a Filipina actress, has finally addressed the wave of reactions that followed her viral 'Santacruzan' post, which had netizens and even local celebrities doing a double take.
Earlier this month, Jennica took to Instagram to share her participation as Reyna Emperatriz in the Grand Sagalahan which was held on May 30 at the Turo Hangga Chapel, in Bocaue, Bulacan.

However, it wasn't just the grand event that caught attention — it was the design of the pubmat.
The layout, which many found solemn and almost memorial-like, momentarily alarmed fans and celebrities alike, who all confessed to them being scared in the comment section afterward.

In a recent livestream, Jennica responded to the comments and buzz surrounding the post, "Akala nila sumalangit na ako!" she said with a laugh, adding that even she had a similar reaction at first, "Pero kung ano yung naisip niyo, naisip ko na. Andun pa naman sa picture si Mama Mary."
Jennica admitted she anticipated such reactions on Facebook, but what surprised her, however, was the response on other platforms like Instagram and TikTok, "Yung mga reaksyon ng tao sa Facebook, ine-expect ko na, pero yung sa Instagram tsaka sa TikTok, hindi ko ine-expect."
Despite the mix of concern and humor in the comments, Jennica took the moment to defend the person behind the post's design, "Wag niyo na idamay yung nag-edit, yung nag-edit ay nagtatrabaho lang. Wag na kayo magsisi ng ibang tao. Masaya ako kasi napasaya ko kayo."
The actress's light-hearted and understanding approach to the situation has only endeared her further to her audience, turning a moment of confusion into one of connection and laughter.
