Social media was abuzz this week after an alleged legal document began circulating, reportedly linking Bacolod City Mayor Albee Benitez to a complaint filed by his wife, Dominique Benitez.

According to Philstar, Dominique lodged a case at the Makati City Regional Trial Court citing emotional and psychological distress stemming from her husband’s supposed infidelity.

According to the alleged leaked affidavit, Dominique said she had long suspected her husband of being unfaithful but lacked concrete evidence—until she received his petition to nullify their marriage.

The petition allegedly revealed he had fathered two children outside their marriage and hinted at a current alleged relationship with a third-party.
