Actress Lovi Poe took to social media to reflect on a meaningful milestone—both personal and historical. In a heartfelt post, Poe revisited her experience starring in the film Lakambini, which she described as a project “close to my heart.”

“Ten years ago, I had the incredible honor of being part of a film called Lakambini, a project that remains close to my heart.♥️,” she wrote.

The film, which centers on the life of Gregoria de Jesus, sheds light on the revolutionary's vital role in Philippine history—not merely as the wife of Andres Bonifacio, but as a courageous leader and guardian of the Katipunan’s secrets.

“She’s the Lakambini of the Katipunan, a fierce keeper of its secrets, and a woman who fought for our freedom with unwavering courage.,” Poe shared.

As the country marks the 150th birth anniversary of Gregoria de Jesus this 2025, Poe expressed how timely and significant it feels to revisit the story of “Oriang.”

“Lakambini was our small way of honoring her spirit, and I hope more people take the time to learn about her strength, intelligence, and deep love for our country,” she wrote.

Poe ended her tribute with a powerful reminder: “Her story deserves to be remembered. Not just in history books, but in our hearts.”

She concluded her post with a simple but poignant greeting: “Happy 150th, Oriang.”

Lovi Poe, born Lourdes Virginia Moran Poe on February 11, 1989, is a Filipina actress, singer, and model. She is the daughter of the late Fernando Poe, Jr. and actress Rowena Moran. She is now a Kapamilya actress and played the lead female role in Coco Martin's very popular teleserye, "FPJ's Batang Quiapo." In the said teleserye, she played the role of Mokang.

She then penned a lengthy message about their last moments together on social media. According to Lovi, "I was given the chance to be with her on her last sunrise."

Meanwhile, Lovi Poe shared on her Instagram account a video compilation of her workout session in a gym. She is seen in the video performing exercises such as one-arm dumbbell rows, lat pulldown, tricep pushdown, hip thrusts, and shoulder presses. Based on the exercises, Lovi targeted key muscle groups such as the back, triceps, glutes, and shoulders.
