Jeraldine Blackman, a Filipina content creator based in Australia, has recently shared an emotional and eye-opening story about her ongoing health struggles in a candid Instagram post.

On Thursday, May 22, Jeraldine posted a series of photos online—including one of herself in a hospital bed holding a bouquet of flowers—while detailing her journey with a heart condition.

She revealed that her symptoms began in May 2022, marking a life-changing turn in her health.

"I have something that is called LEFT VENTRICULAR SEPTAL AN*URYSM. I have an an*urysm in my heart and I found this out in June 2022. Prior to the diagnosis, I have been having CHEST PAINS," Jeraldine disclosed in her now-viral post on the well-known photo-sharing application.

Initially, her symptoms were dismissed, "I got tested and they sent me back home. They said my ECG and blood test were all normal. 3 days after that, I was doing my washing at home then I suddenly fainted."

After briefly losing consciousness, she remained dizzy and decided to seek further medical help.

"We were in triage and I had fainted again. So they monitored me for the whole day," she said.

It was only after this second emergency visit that doctors finally discovered the underlying issue.

"They said, 'Oh can you come back because we just found out in your ECG that you have a LEFT BUNDLE BRANCH BLOCK.' So they did ECHO and they found out I have a 3.8 cm an*urysm in my left ventricle."

Despite the terrifying ordeal, Jeraldine shared that she is now in a much stable condition as well.

"I was on a few medications to control the symptoms, but we have stopped everything because I am now stable," she said, though she acknowledged dealing with other health challenges, "Along with my cardiac issue, I have a lot of gastrointestinal issues that I am dealing with right now. So I am very careful of what I eat."

Ending her post with an important reminder, Jeraldine told her followers: "Hope you guys stay healthy because HEALTH IS WEALTH!"
