Jeraldine Blackman, a Filipina content creator based in Australia, has opened up about the health scare that led to her recent surgery, revealing details that have since drawn support from fans.

On Wednesday, May 21, Jeraldine took to Instagram to share a series of candid photo snaps, including a selfie she took from when she was at the hospital, which worried her followers online.

In her post, she disclosed that her gastroenterologist had discovered 15 polyps in her colon during a procedure, "Yesterday, I had surgery and a few tests. After the procedure, my gastroenterologist told me that he found 15 POLYPS in my colon. He removed them and sent them for biopsy."

Although the results of the biopsy are still pending, Jeraldine remained hopeful in her now-viral post, writing, "We don't know what is going on yet, but we are hoping everything will be okay!"

Her heartfelt post quickly garnered attention, not only because of the medical revelation but also due to the touching story she shared about a Filipino nurse named Beck, who she gave a shoutout.

"Shout out to Beck, the Filipino nurse I met at the recovery. She prayed over me and she was in tears while praying and that made me realise that there are a lot of people out there with good hearts and positive soul! Thank you Beck! I hope you see this post," Jeraldine wrote online.
