On Instagram Stories, the wife of Sen. Robin Padilla penned a message where she wrote nothing but nice words about her fellow celebrity mom. Mariel commended Marj’s beautiful soul and expressed how much she admires the birthday celebrant.

She is best known for her work as a host on ABS-CBN’s long-running noontime show, Wowowee, and later, It's Showtime. Mariel is also widely recognized as the wife of actor and senator Robin Padilla. The couple got married in 2010 and have two children together namely Isabella and Gabriela Padilla.
Marjorie Barretto, on the other hand, is a Filipina former actress and politician. She hails from the prominent Barretto family, with sisters Gretchen and Claudine also being well-known figures in the Philippine entertainment industry. She is a mother to five children from different relationships. Her eldest daughter, Dani Barretto, was born from her relationship with actor Kier Legaspi. Marjorie later married comedian and actor Dennis Padilla in 1997, and they had three children together: Julia , Claudia, and Leon. Meanwhile, Marjorie's youngest child, Erich, was born from her relationship with former Caloocan Mayor Recom Echiverri.
