Veteran actor and comedian Gene Padilla’s new series of online posts created a buzz on social media.

His latest posts featured Claudine Barretto and the actress’ beloved children. The posts show glimpses of their fun get-together in a lovely restaurant recently.

One of his posts shows him and Claudine beaming while posing for the camera. Along with the snap, Gene also penned an intriguing caption.

“Brainstorming… #TheUninvited,” he wrote.

Gene later posted a video showing him and Claudine laughing while conversing with each other.

“Alam mo yung…..,” he cryptically captioned.

Finally, the comedian shared a couple of photos of himself along with Claudine’s kids.

“Mga mahal kong pamangkin,” he affectionately penned accompanied by a red heart emoji.

Claudine Barretto is one of the three famous Barretto sisters, which include Gretchen Barretto and Marjorie Barretto. Clau rose to fame when she became a cast of the 90's TV show, "Ang TV." In 1993, she joined the cast of "Home Along Da Riles," which stars comedy king Dolphy Quizon. Other teleseryes that Claudine starred in include "Mula sa Puso," "Saan Ka Man Naroroon," "Sa Dulo ng Walang Hanggan," "Marina," and "Iisa Pa Lamang." She tied the knot with Raymart Santiago in the year 2006, though several years later, the two parted ways.

Gene Padilla, on the other hand, in the brother of Dennis Padilla. Dennis, born Dennis Esteban Dominguez Baldivia on February 9, 1962, is a Filipino entertainer known for his work as a comedian and actor. He is the son of the late comedian Dencio Padilla. Over the years, he has been featured in numerous films and television series, showcasing his versatility as a performer. In his personal life, Dennis was married to actress Marjorie Barretto from 1995 until their annulment in 2009. The couple has three children: Julia, Claudia, and Leon. Dennis is now estranged from his children with Marjorie.

Gene Padilla shared on Stories a screenshot of his attention-grabbing online comment. In his comment, Gene reacted to the traffic situations in various areas. The comedian likewise mentioned “hindi naman invited” in his remark. In the said remark, Gene wrote a question addressed to those who tagged along with others who went on a getaway without being invited. “Pauwi na po ba lahat ng sumama sa outing na hindi naman INVITED?” he intriguingly asked. In the same comment, Gene further urged everyone to stay safe and have a delightful Easter Sunday.

Marjorie Barretto, in the "Part 2" of her interview with Ogie Diaz, clarified Gene's involvement in their current issue. According to her, Dennis Padilla's brother, Gene Padilla, was not invited to Claudia's wedding. This was also related to Gene's Facebook post telling his side of the story of what truly happened at Claudia's wedding. Marjorie, on the other hand, clarified that Gene wasn't invited to the wedding in the first place.
