In a heartfelt statement posted on his official Facebook page, Mayor Isko acknowledged the overwhelming mandate he received and pledged to dedicate himself to becoming a better leader for the city.

“Maraming-maraming salamat po. I have no words but thanks to the people of Manila. I am grateful to each and every citizen of the City,” Mayor Isko stated, expressing his deep appreciation for the trust and support of the Manileños.

He recognized the significance of the election outcome, saying, “With this overwhelming type of mandate, I really owe it to you. I will do my best to be a better Mayor of the City of Manila.”

Looking ahead to his term, which officially begins on June 30th, the mayor-elect made a call for unity and healing within the city.

“Nanawagan ako sa inyo, let’s start healing each other. Kung may hurtful words from them to us, and to you, I know, but, let's be magnanimous in victory,” Mayor Isko appealed.
