"My biggest fear has always been to lose a loved one. You know it's coming one day, but when it's finally there, it feels surreal," Rikki Mae wrote, opening her post with vulnerability and honesty.

What followed was a poignant list of the "little things" she would miss the most about her father.

"I will miss all the little things about my dad. Watching him relax on his chair and watch the news with the volume too loud. Listening to him passionately tell stories that I've heard before (minsan sinasabayan ko na siya) with the same excitement. All the mini sermons that I know come from his heart."

Rikki Mae continued to recall more sweet, everyday moments that painted a picture of who Ricky was beyond the spotlight: "I will miss how his eyes disappear when he starts laughing, especially after pranking us. I will miss him collecting random things hanggang sa 20 na yung payong namin sa bahay. I will miss the smell of his room when he leaves. I will miss his excitement to bring us to places he likes, and his smile when we like it too. Most of all, I will miss calling him randomly to say hi, make chismis, ask for advice, or just talk."

She ended her tribute on a heartfelt note, saying, "I will never stop grieving for you, papa. I still don't know how to live in a world without you. But I will make sure to live my life the best way I can, and I will honor you by striving to be a good person everyday and always doing my best."

The post, which has since gone viral, resonated with fans and loved ones alike who continue to mourn Ricky's passing while celebrating his lasting legacy as a father, artist, and friend.
