The mix-up happened on Jake's official Facebook page, where a netizen commented under one of his posts, expressing concern over the idea of him entering politics and what his platforms are.

The comment read, "Ayaw namin ng pogi lang, dapat may alam at plataporma," to which Jake responded in the coolest way possible, "Tumatakbo po ako — pero sa marathon, hindi sa politika."

Jake even followed it up with a playful yet classy reply in the original post: "Walang plataporma pero may Strava! Relax, ma'am. Yung #RunUno, sa marathon lang ang labanan, hindi halalan."
