Arnold Clavio shared another attention-grabbing post about corruption less than a week before election day.

On Wednesday, May 7, the veteran newscaster shared a quote card displaying Pope Francis’ statement about the delicate topic.

“Corruption is paid by the poor,” the text quoting the late pontiff reads.

Along with the quote card, Igan wrote a frank caption about the upcoming midterm election. The said election will decide hundreds of seats in the House of Representatives and Senate as well as thousands of contested local positions.

“EHEM : Limang araw na lang ELEKSYON 2025 na!!!” the Kapuso broadcast journalist penned.

He went on to leave some pieces of advice to all Filipino voters.

“Magdasal.
Mag-aral.
Manuri.
Maging matalino.
Unahin ang bayan bago ang sarili.”

Just recently, Arnold also shared a frank post days before the 2025 polls.

The veteran broadcast journalist lamented on the alleged corruption in government projects. As per the prominent Kapuso news anchor, such corruption unfortunately resulted in deaths.

“Bakit kailangang may magbuwis ng buhay para sumingaw ang baho ng korapsyon sa mga proyekto ng gobyerno?” the veteran broadcaster mournfully asked.

“May dugo sa kamay ninyong lahat!” he added, seemingly addressed to corrupt government officials.

The Kapuso journalist also penned a blunt caption about the upcoming polls.

“Itanong natin sa mga tumatakbo , HANGGANG KAILAN ANG SAPAT ?
Sa inyong kasuwapangan.
Sa inyong kadupangan.
Sa inyong katakawan.
Sa inyong kasakiman.
Wala ba kayong kabusugan?”

Igan likewise told the voters, “Magdesisyon tayo sa May 12 para matigil na ang KATIWALIAN. Kailan ang TAMA NA! SOBRA NA! NGAYON NA! Kawawang susunod na henerasyon na produkto ng mga magnanakaw!”

In the caption, Igan penned his lengthy reaction to the text scam. The veteran broadcast journalist likewise penned a fiery message to all the scammers.

Arnold Clavio also took to social media to pay tribute to Ricky Davao, who passed away on May 1, 2025 at the age of 63. In an Instagram post, Arnold shared a lovely throwback photo of himself with Ricky captured when they bumped into each other at an event. Along with the snap, the Kapuso news anchor looked back on his fond memories of the late veteran actor and director. The veteran broadcast journalist also revealed his reaction when he learned about Ricky’s demise. Igan concluded his tribute post by wishing Ricky’s soul eternal peace.
