Sharon Cuneta shared the handwritten letter that her daughter Kakie wrote for all the mayors in the Philippines, appealing for their support for Kiko Pangilinan who is gunning for senator in the upcoming elections.

Sharon, in the caption, recognized the effort that her daughter made for her father.

"Our dearest Kakie paused from completing all her graduation requirements and wrote this heartfelt letter for all the Mayors in our country to ask for their help for her Daddy. We are so blessed with the most loving, supportive children who are as devoted to us as we are to them! Thank you, Baba. We love you so very much," Sharon wrote.

"Our family has stood by helplessly for several years now as the smear campaigns have persisted against him. The misrepresentations of his character are as heartbreaking as they are untrue. - My father is a deeply humble, consistent man who keeps decades old T-shirts and listens to disco music and makes it a point to attend all our sport meets....He's used the same watch and wallet for as long as I can remember and wore the same pair of Converse sneakers for the 14 years it took one of my cousins to notice in the previous election. She got him a new pair, and he's wearing those today."

"And therein lies the trouble - we do not have the political machinery. We do not have a billion-peso budget to push for him as loudly as we ought to, as loudly as he deserves. He has worked quietly and tirelessly or years in pursuit of our agricultural development. Our agricultural sector is the backbone of all our national economy..."

"I am reaching out to you as a young Filipino who still believes in our country's fundamental kindness. Our potential for true strength and stability. I know that what is easy is not always right, and that often the difficult route must be taken in order to arrive at something good..."
