"Let this be a lesson to be more careful and responsible when you are behind the wheel. And maybe, this is a sign that we need to fix/change our airport. I believe that the driver is at fault, but let's not deny the fact that our airport needs some changing," she began in her now-viral post.

Following this note, Jessy also reflected on how little progress has been made over the years, sharing her personal sentiment about her age and the airport's longstanding condition as well.

"Tumanda na ako, ganyan pa rin ang NAIA, baka naman — pwede na rin natin pagtuunan ng pansin na baguhin at pagandahin ang ating airport. Imbis na masaya ka, magbabakasyon o lilipad, may takot na sa pagpasok pa lang ng airport," she lamented, highlighting how fear now accompanies what should be an exciting experience of travel for the people and their families.

Beyond the airport, the actress also turned her attention to the country's driver licensing system.

In a follow-up Instagram story, Jessy also called for the implementation of stricter regulations regarding the issuance of driver's licenses to keep the people safe, amid the tragic incidents.

"And hopefully, we become more stricter when it comes to granting licenses. So many road accidents lately, it is time to implement stricter regulations to keep our families safe," she added.

Jessy's statements have sparked discussion online, with many netizens echoing her concerns.
