Carla Abellana, a Kapuso actress, showed professionalism as she hosted a beauty pageant in a non-airconditioned venue — a challenge she shared with her followers on Wednesday, April 30.

In her candid Instagram post, Carla admitted feeling a bit nervous before the event, citing her long break from co-hosting and the physically demanding setup because of her health condition.

"It's been a while since I last co-hosted a beauty pageant. I admit I was a bit worried because I feared I lacked practice and because the venue was going to be non-airconditioned (apologies for my Cardiogenic Syncope)," she wrote, briefly mentioning the health condition that she has.

Despite the heat and her personal health concerns, Carla pushed through with the help of faith and a sense of humor, "But I just prayed and everything turned out well. Wooh! Thank you, Lord!"

The actress also poked fun at herself in the same post, revealing it was her first time hosting while clutching a tissue on stage — not as a prop, but as a necessity due to how hot it was that day.

"Though it was my first time having tissue in my hand to regularly wipe the sweat off my face from time to time while on stage (How embarrassing! Waaah!), I think everyone in the audience understood and really felt that it was simply just hot," she had written in her viral online post.

Still, the Kapuso actress remained upbeat afterward, expressing gratitude for the opportunity and enjoyment throughout the event, "Nevertheless, I enjoyed every bit of it and I'm just so grateful."
