Lara Quigaman shared she’s heavy-hearted following an unfortunate incident in Vancouver, Canada that killed and injured several people.

Recently, a vehicle plowed into a street party in the western city of Vancouver as members of the Filipino community gathered to celebrate the Lapu Lapu Day Festival.

The bloody incident happened 8:00 PM on Saturday during the festival at E. 41st Avenue and Fraser, according to Vancouver Police.

Lara later took to Instagram Stories to react to the deadly car-ramming incident.

“My heart is heavy,” the former beauty queen mournfully wrote.

She also offered a prayer for those affected by the incident.

“Praying for the Filipino community here in Vancouver, especially for all the families of the victims,” said Lara, who is now based in Canada along with her husband Marco Alcaraz, and their three sons.

In another viral local report, a 51-year-old public teacher in Las Piñas City was stabbed multiple times by her own husband. According to the report of EJ Gomez in 'Unang Balita,' the 38-year-old suspect committed the crime inside the school's faculty room. Police authorities said the school has a security guard, but being a familiar face in the school, the suspect managed to easily get in and out of the school. The suspect said he was there to talk to his wife and settle their misunderstanding, but unfortunately, it led to a big arguement.
