Jaya, who currently resides in the US, expressed how delighted she is to have Regine as her friend. She further wrote her earnest prayer for Regine.

Regine Velasquez, is a renowned Filipino singer, actress, and record producer. She is often referred to as "Asia's Songbird" due to her exceptional vocal range and belting technique. Regine's passion for music was evident from a young age. Recognizing her potential, her father, Gerardo Velasquez, took an unconventional approach to train her voice by immersing her neck-deep in the sea. Throughout her career, Regine has released several studio albums, making her one of the best-selling Filipino artists. In December 2010, Regine married fellow Filipino singer-songwriter Ogie Alcasid. The couple has a son named Nathaniel James.
